Leadership
Kelly Murphy - CEO
Kelly has been working in the Home Health consulting industry for 18 years and uses her knowledge and network of experts to bring your agency the expertise it needs. Kelly has a Bachelors of Science in Human Development from the Binghamton University, as well as a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Services Administration from the State University of New York at Oswego. She holds an HCS-O certification and is also a CHAP Certified Consultant. Murphy Advisory Services is a member of the Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts and Kelly proudly serves on the Board of Directors.
Carmel Williams - Executive Advisor
Carmel has been working in the Home Health industry for 11 years with a focus on Coding and OASIS quality, compliance and education. Carmel is HCS-D, HCS-O and HCS-H certified and serves as an excellent resource to both our clients and our team. Carmel holds a Bachelors in Physiology from the University of Galway, a Masters of Science from University College Cork, as well as Post-Graduate degree in Biopharmaceutical Science from the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology.
Linsey Wanderski - Advisor
Linsey has a decade of experience as a nurse, as a field clinician and case manager, and working her way into quality analyst and utilization review roles. Linsey's true passion is helping agencies streamline their revenue cycle processes, processing back claims and helping agencies with revenue recovery. Linsey has an HCS-O certification, and has a Master’s of Nursing from Chamberlain College.
Virginia Parrott - Advisor
Virginia is a seasoned RN with 40 years of experience as a clinician. She has served as a Director of Patient Services for a NY Home Health Agency, and also as the head of a Home Health Agency’s Quality department. She helps agencies with compliance, ensuring that each patient episode has complete documentation and is following the Medicare CoPs. Virginia obtained her RN degree from Syracuse University.
Tina McIlhargie- Advisor
Tina brings 30 years of Home Health Quality experience to Murphy Advisory. She has worked directly for Home Health agencies in a Quality role, as well as some of the largest consulting firms in the country. She is dedicated to helping agencies with accurate documentation and clinical education. She carries a COS-C and HCS-D certification, and has a Nursing degree from Delta Community College.
Melanie Machado- Advisor
Melanie brings years of executive experience in both Home Health & Hospice to Murphy Advisory. She has worked in multiple roles including Executive Director, Administrator, Director of Nursing and Vice President. She has experience in hospice start-ups including Licensing, Certification and Accreditation. Melanie has a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, and is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse.

Gina Mazza brings over 25 years of specialized healthcare experience, with a focus on home health and hospice. Her unique perspective was forged on the front lines when she began her career as a Registered Nurse. Her career trajectory – from Registered Nurse to President – allows her to navigate the complexities of executive leadership without losing sight of the daily realities of organizations with missions grounded in patient care and rooted in servant leadership.
Jessica Updegraff, CEO - FirstLight Healthcare Consulting
Jessica brings over 30 years of nursing experience to her clients, including roles in executive leadership, quality and compliance. Jessica is an RN and has certifications in Coding, OASIS, billing and documentation. She also has a MHA from Ohio University.
